Kripa Sindhu Dasa: Thank you for your website. Initially I did think it could have some nice stuff or news but then I thought the other sites cover this area very well but we need a no nonsense site to deal directly with the main issues of ISKCON and with this you have done a great job.
The one thing I would like to add is how most devotees know very little about Srila Prabhupada. I joined some six years ago and I suppose to you my initiation to what you call a Rubber Stamped Guru is not bona fide. For me I have my spiritual name and that is all I want from my guru and for that I am very grateful but I don’t think he even remembers me.
After scouring over your website for any knowledge I could get to help me understand my spiritual predicament I came to the conclusion that I really did not know Srila Prabhupada at all. It really shocked me to the core. I have no idea whatsoever who Srila Prabhupada is and what he wanted of us.
Funny how when you read this stuff, no matter how terrible it all sounds, I ended up falling in love with Srila Prabhupada. To feel the love and dedication of all the devotees who have written in have for Srila Prabhupada I got infected with it as well. For this I am eternally grateful prabhus.
I am reading Srila Prabhupada’s books as if for the first time. I had only half finished the Bhagavad Gita and some of his small books but and that is all but now I am enthused to read every one of his books cover to cover.
The solution is as you say to get Prabhupada’s vision and not the vision of the GBC and unbonafide gurus. It is very angering to know that they have no right to appoint themselves or eachother as guru! I feel cheated big time and I wish I knew better and could take it all back. But now I am very happy getting to hear from devotees who love and desire to serve Srila Prabhupada.
I was reading in your letter about the BBT how Srila Prabhupada is the only Acharya of ISKCON even after his death. This really freaked me out. It makes sense or why would Srila Prabhupada make such a definite mention of this in these documents. How could they ignore this bold and clear statement?
I can see now why they keep this stuff a big secret. If the masses of devotees knew about this they would revolt against the GBC and Gurus who have been cheating them for all these years. I suppose devotees like the ones who write to your site have known this for years and I wonder how many of you devotees are out there in ISKCON?
I suppose I am the reason why they have gotten away with pretending to have authority from Srila Prabhupada. Not me exactly but devotees like me who have never been given the opportunity to know Srila Prabhupada.
You know in all these years I have never distributed one single book of Srila Prabhupada. I have sold stickers on the street collecting for my guru but never once a book. Now I want to but as you say I have to get Srila Prabhupadas unchanged books.
How can this be stopped? It must be stopped and people must know. But then again I think this is how. We must all be told the truth about this.
Anyway prabhus please keep up the good work and keep giving us this medicine.
