Govinda Dasa – USA: New Years day 2011 was celebrated in Srila Prabhupada’s Krishna Balaram Mandir by holding a program and feast in honor of Narayana Maharaja.

Panca Gauda das the Temple President gave the instruction to hold the feast which was organized by Janardana das a Temple Manager and given the full blessings of the Vrindavan GBC members.

The Vrindavan Executive Board (VEB) is the GBC for Vrindavan and its members are: Gopal Krishna Goswami, Radhanatha Swami, Kadamba Kanana Swami, Bhakti Rasamrita Swami (Radhanatha Swami Disciple), Ravindra Svarup das, Sesa das, Bhima das, Devaki Nandan das and Radha Krishna das (Radhanatha Swami disciple).

It is believed that a close personal friend of Panca Gauda das, Braja Bihari das of the ISKCON Resolve department, a senior disciple of Bhurijana das, requested the ISKCON Vrindavan Temple President to conduct the program.

Bhurijana das is a siksa disciple of Narayana Maharaja and ex President of Narayana Maharaja’s Math who also held the position in ISKCON of GBC, Rubber Stamped Guru and Gurukula Manager in the heyday of the Gopi Bhava Clubs fiasco.

Bhurijana das along with Dhanurdhar Swami, Giriraja Swami and the other ex officio members of the Narayana Maharaja Gopi Bhava Club being based in Govardhan are bracing themselves to welcome back their old God brothers and sisters who defected over to Narayana Maharaja’s Camp along with any followers or disciples who they can con into coming into ISKCON to be their disciples.

This New Years Day found only the diehard veterans like Bhurijana das and Dhanurdhar Swami who were offensive enough to speak in honor of Narayana Maharaja. Dhanurdhar Swami who has been banned from representing Srila Prabhupada as he arrogantly refuses to accept that he should be reprimanded for violently beating little children in the Vrindavan Gurukul, had the audacity to show his face in an official capacity as a representative of Srila Prabhupada in Srila Prabhupada’s home, the Krishna Balarama Mandir in Vrindavan.

It must be noted that these early Gopi Bhava members, who were siksa disciples of Narayana Maharaja, gave credence to many immature disciples of Srila Prabhupada who defected over to Narayana Maharaja’s camp. It must also be noted that many ISKCON Sanyasis who did not take Sanyasi from Srila Prabhupada renewed their Sanyasi Mantra by obtaining it from Narayana Maharaja as they believed him to be a bonifide Sanyasi Guru and therefore consequently deemed their ISKCON sanyasi gurus to be unbonifide.

To think that these people, who claim to represent our Acharya Srila Prabhupada, could do such a thing in Srila Prabhupada’s home is certainly unpardonable.

Many Temple devotees did not attend the program as they were shocked and saddened by this travesty and aparadha to the Founder Acharya of ISKCON Srila Prabhupada.

Some may believe “why not give Narayana Maharaja such an honor in Srila Prabhupada’s topmost Temple?”

Many say that Srila Prabhupada wanted that we work with the Gaudiya Math and in particular Narayana Maharaja. However, Srila Prabhupada did not say work with them, he asked them to work with us. There is a qualitative difference between the two conceptions.

GBC secretary Rupanuga dasa in a letter dated April 28, 1974:

So it is better not to mix with my Godbrothers very intimately because instead of inspiring our

students and disciples they may sometimes pollute them. This attempt was made previously by

them, especially Madhava Maharaja and Tirtha Maharaja and Bon Maharaja but somehow or

other I saved the situation. This is going on. We shall be very careful about them and not mix with

them. This is my instruction to you all. They cannot help us in our movement, but they are very

competent to harm our natural progress. So we must be very careful about them.

Here Srila Prabhupada instructs us how to deal with the other Gaudiya Math Gurus.

Following is where Srila Prabhupada instructs us how his movement should go on after his departure. Not that anyone takes over or becomes Guru or Acharyas, only how he wanted us to manage the society that he established.

“Stick to our principle, and see our GBC is very alert. Then everything will go on, even I am not

present. Do that. That is my request. Whatever little I have taught you, follow that, and nobody

will be aggrieved. No maya will touch you. Now Krsna has given us, and there will be no scarcity

of money. You print book and sell. So everything is there. We have got good shelter all over the

world. We have got income. You stick to our principles, follow the. . . Even if I die suddenly, you’ll

be able to manage. That’s all. That I want. Manage nicely and let the movement go forward. Now

arrange. Don’t go backward. Be careful. “Apani acari prabhu jevere siknaya.”

—Room conversation, Bombay, April 22, 1977).

Srila Prabhupada wanted that his God Brothers and Narayana Maharaja unite with ISKCON devotees to ‘manage’ the ISKCON society to continue with the work that he had established. This meant Srila Prabhupada was still the Acharya and in charge. Manage is the operative word here. Not take over and claim themselves successors and Acharya’s in their own right or change any emphasis or programs, simply manage.

Narayana Maharaja claims, many times, that Srila Prabhupada wanted him to help ISKCON devotees and infers it is we who don’t listen to him and accept him as our guru. He goes on to claim that Srila Prabhupada considered his own disciples to be akin to a monkey.

“Govardhana, 2009: He (Srila Prabhupada) told me, “I brought many to the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu,

but Icould not train them fully; they are like monkeys. Due to their lack of qualification I did not have

time to teach them all tattva (established philosophical truths) and siddhanta (philosophical

conclusions). Please help them in every way so that they may stay on the path of Vaisnavism”

This is not what Srila Prabhupada had said and Narayana Maharaja fabricated this above statement which is in fact what Narayana Maharaja actually himself thinks of the disciples of Srila Prabhupada and so it is no wonder that Srila Prabhupada kindly requested that Narayana Maharaja should not ‘despise’ his disciples and help instead.

Srila Prabhupada: Please do not despise them.

Narayana Maharaja: No, no.

Srila Prabhupada: They . . .

Narayana Maharaja: They are the best. If one has undeviating devotion to Lord Hari, then, even if

he has any faults, “api cet su-duracaro bhajate mam ananya-bhak/ sadhur eva sa mantavyau

samyag vyavasito hi saù. ” This is the principle . . .”

Despise means to look down on someone with disdain or disrespect and contempt. Srila Prabhupada knew the mood of his ‘nephew’ Narayana Maharaja and so cautioned him.

Narayana Maharaja did not only go on to despise the devotees that Srila Prabhupada made he went on to despise Srila Prabhupada himself. He despised us so much that no non Indian devotee could do puja or cook for the Deities what to speak of Narayana Maharaja himself, which typifies that both he and his Math have the skin disease and therefore still on the bodily platform of human life.

Here is a link to a video recording of a class that Narayana Maharaja gave where he clearly states that Srila Prabhupada was wrong. This is if you require further justification. But I advise that a sincere follower of Srila Prabhupada do not watch this video and hear the venomous words of Narayana Maharaja and offensive laughter of his disciples.

Narayana Maharaja, since Srila Prabhupada entered into his Samadhi lila, has revealed his true colors. He is no longer the humble devotee but the master who could scoff and laugh at Srila Prabhupada as if he was his mere junior as you witnessed in this video.

Narayana Maharaja: Apnake ami ki sneha karba. Apnake to ami gurutulya mane kari.

Narayana Maharaja: Who am I to show affection to you? I respect you as my

spiritual master. [The Bengali word sneha, translated as “affection,”

particularly denotes love that flows from senior to junior. That is why

Narayana Maharaja responds, “Who am I to offer sneha to you? Rather I

consider you to be like my spiritual master.”]

When you see him scoff at Srila Prabhupada and you hear all those offensive fools chuckle at what they stupidly think is Srila Prabhupada’s folly, it makes one sick to the core. The impudent traitorous fools falsely believe they have the spiritual elevation that Narayana Maharaja conned them into believing that they have, so much so that they stupidly believe they can now snigger and chuckle at Srila Prabhupada.

I suppose Panca Gauda and his little sidekick Janardana das as well as Gopal Krishna Goswami and Radhanatha Swami will welcome the very same traitorous rascals back into ISKCON with their open arms!

Absolutely no loyal follower or disciple of Srila Prabhupada would entertain the thought, what to speak of act on that thought, to conduct a well wishing and honorary program to a person who was envious and disrespectful to the pure devotee and Acharya Srila Prabhupada in his home, in his Samadhi, in his most beloved Krishna Balaram Mandir and in Sri Vrindavan Dham.

Panca Gauda das and Janardana das as well as Bhurijan das and Dhanurdhar Swami, who gave glorifying speeches, plus the Vrindavan Executive Board who sanctioned this atrocity, should be made to resign their positions in shame and disgrace at such an aparadha at the lotus feet of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.
