Kṛṣṇacandra Dāsa – Śrī Vṛndāvan Dham: His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda is no ordinary jīva he is a saktiavesa avartara or an empowered incarnation sent by the Lord to give Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the world and to set the standard of pure devotional service for mankind.
Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the many Ācārya’s who come in disciplic succession are accessible to us in the form of sound vibration beginning with the Hare Kṛṣṇa Mahā Mantra.
Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare
It must be clearly understood that the Mahā Bhāgavata devotee of the Lord His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda is the ‘devotee bhāgavata’ who can be known served loved via his books and literature exactly the same as Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa can be known served and loved as the Book Bhāgavata through the sacred texts such as Śrīmad Bhagavad Gītā, Śrīmad Bhāgavatam & Caitanya Caritamrita.
The world must never forget that Śrīla Prabhupāda as an elderly Sannyāsa in his seventies endured many hardships in order to bring Kṛṣṇa consciousness and the Hare Kṛṣṇa Mahā Mantra to the western countries and establish the International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness – ISKCON.
He taught the world how to live a pure spiritual and cultured life in the form of daivi-varna-ashram dharma and he established a society for the priestly or Brahman class to lead and train the rest of the world in Kṛṣṇa consciousness as given by the Vaiṣṇava paramparā.
He did not deviate or confuse the base standard for human life for the members of his society. He taught that all members must strictly adhere to the basic tenets of Vaiṣṇava culture which are given as the four regulative principles. No meat eating, No illicit sex, no gambling and no intoxication.
He also taught the world the true meaning of guru or teacher. He taught that the only true guru teacher or Ācārya was a pure Vaiṣṇava devotee of the Lord or a mahā bhāgavata devotee. In other words if you take a guru of a lesser standard of consciousness you will never achieve the desired result – Kṛṣṇa prema love of Godhead.
He taught the true meaning of gentlemen and gentlewomen and how to live a life of truthfulness honesty care and compassion to others. He taught how to be brave and fierce in the defense of our guru paramparā and other fellow aspiring Vaiṣṇavas but at the same time be humble regarding one’s own life and service.
He taught that the highest service or welfare is service to not only mankind, but all living entities on this earth including the earth, which can only be achieved by dedicating one’s life to serving Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa by following the instructions of the Vaiṣṇava paramparā.
In the words of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura:
He reasons ill who says that Vaishnavas die,
When thou art living still in sound!
The Vaishnavas die to live, and living try
To spread the holy name around.
We do not possess enough tongues or appropriate words to adequately glorify the pure devotee of the Lord His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda who Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself has personally sent to liberate mankind from the diabolical clutches of māyā and her agents – the kali chelas of this world.
